How did Feathertop Winery begin?
Feathertop was established in 1988 as the very first winery in the Alpine Valleys. Kind of a massive deal!
The estate was originally a tangle of overgrown horse paddocks, which left a lot to the imagination. Luckily, an imagination is exactly what Janelle had. Drawn to this lush locale because of its ability to grow sensational grapes for 22 varieties, Feathertop Winery was born.
