How much does Mellyrain Creative cost?
Plan & Style starts from $15,500, and Plan starts from $11,500. All prices are exclusive of GST, travel and accommodation.
How far in advance should I book a wedding planner?
For Plan & Style, book 15–18 months ahead. For Plan, 12–15 months. Mellyrain Creative takes on just 20 couples per year, so early enquiry is advised.
What does Mellyrain Creative do?
Mellyrain Creative is a destination wedding planning and styling studio. We offer two ways to work with us: Plan & Style, our full-service planning, styling, florals and stationery experience, and Plan, for couples who want planning and coordination handled without the styling. Both are led by one dedicated team, for couples across Australia.
Does Mellyrain Creative do florals and styling?
Yes. In-house floral design, custom stationery and complete styling are included in Plan & Style, our signature offering, making Mellyrain Creative one of the few Australian studios where planning, florals and design are managed by one dedicated team.
Do I need a wedding planner if my venue has a coordinator?
A venue coordinator manages the venue. They don't coordinate your external vendors, your budget, personal timeline or the million other things when planning a wedding. Mellyrain Creative manages every element end-to-end, working alongside your venue coordinator so nothing falls through the gaps between your wedding day vision and its execution.
Where does Mellyrain Creative plan weddings?
We plan destination weddings across Victoria, including the Yarra Valley, Macedon Ranges, Mornington Peninsula, Daylesford and the High Country. We also travel for weddings interstate.
Who is Melanie from Mellyrain Creative?
Melanie is the founder and director of Mellyrain Creative. Before weddings, she coordinated major events for Paul McCartney, The Australian Open and Sia. Her work has been featured in Vogue Australia. She leads every Plan & Style wedding alongside stylist and designer Lauren.
Can Mellyrain Creative plan our wedding if we live overseas?
Yes. Mellyrain Creative works with couples based internationally. All planning consultations are conducted online, and the team manages every detail remotely and on the ground. Distance is never an obstacle to a beautifully curated celebration.
What's the difference between Plan and Plan & Style?
Plan covers full wedding planning and on-the-day coordination including your budget, vendors, timelines and logistics. Plan & Style adds a dedicated stylist to the team, managing in-house florals, custom stationery and complete styling alongside planning, so every element of your day is designed and executed by one team
