Mellyrain Creative offers three wedding planning packages for couples across Australia. Plan + Style is the full-service experience (planning, styling, florals and stationery from $15,500). Plan covers complete planning and coordination without styling from $11,500. And Coordinate is professional on-the-day management from $5,500. All packages include vendor management, a detailed wedding day brief, rehearsal coordination and on-the-day management. Led by Melanie, who brings major event experience (including Paul McCartney tours and The Australian Open) to every wedding she plans.

Before founding Mellyrain Creative, Melanie coordinated major events for Paul McCartney, The Australian Open and Sia. That same logistical precision, creative eye and genuine care now goes into every wedding she plans across Victoria, New South Wales and the wider Australian region.
Mellyrain Creative is one of the few Australian studios where planning, styling, florals and stationery are managed by one devoted team. This means your wedding day is entirely cohesive. From the first vendor briefing to the final floral installation without you ever having to brief the same vision twice.

Can I book Mellyrain Creative if I haven't chosen a venue yet?
Yes. Venue sourcing is available as an optional add-on to both the Plan + Style and Plan packages. This includes tailored venue recommendations, availability checks, price negotiations and support with site visits, so you can secure your dream location with expert guidance before planning begins.
Can you plan outdoor, property and marquee weddings?
Yes. Mellyrain Creative specialises in outdoor, countryside and destination weddings, including garden weddings, estate weddings, homestead celebrations and marquee weddings across Victoria and New South Wales. All planning packages include site visits and wet weather planning, with optional bump-in and bump-out day services available.
What if you don't understand our vision?
Mellyrain Creative limits bookings to 20 couples per year so every couple receives focused, personalised attention from the start. Vision-checking is built into the planning process at multiple stages, from initial consultations through to final briefings, to ensure complete alignment throughout the entire journey.
I'm a control freak. Will this actually work for me?
Many Mellyrain Creative couples describe themselves as control freaks before booking and report total peace of mind after. The planning process is deeply collaborative and transparent. You're involved in every key decision, with Melanie as your informed guide at every step. The goal is for you to feel more in control, not less.
My venue already has a coordinator. Do I really need a wedding planner??
A venue coordinator manages the property on the day. They don't coordinate your external vendors, florist, photographer, celebrant or your personal timeline. Mellyrain Creative manages every element end-to-end, working alongside your venue coordinator rather than instead of them. This means nothing falls through the gaps between your vendors, your venue and your vision.
Are there any additional costs beyond the package fee?
Travel and accommodation fees may apply for weddings and are quoted at the time of enquiry. For the Plan + Style package, an additional budget of $12,000–$15,000 is recommended to cover florals, stationery, signage and labour. Property and outdoor weddings may require an additional site visit, discussed and confirmed at enquiry.
WHO WILL COORDINATE OUR WEDDING?
For Plan + Style and Plan packages, Melanie personally coordinates your wedding day. For standalone Coordinate bookings, a senior Mellyrain Creative coordinator manages the day, confirmed during the booking process. All coordinators are trained to Mellyrain Creative's standards and maintain the same level of care and precision.
